GRUVE 3 – RØDE ROBERT
GRUVE 3 – RØDE ROBERT
Røde Robert is a strong red ale, stored in oak barrels in the former mines.
Like all Gruve 3 beers, it is named after a former miner to honor the long, traditional work in the mines and the hard work of each individual.
Our Barrel Red Ale is characterized by the excellent balance between hop bitterness and the sweetness of the malt. Despite the high residual sugar, the beer is not overly sweet and the hop bitter oils are just enough to balance this out. Storage in used whiskey barrels also rounds off the Røde Robert's full range of aromas.
